Simply incredible. Astonishing detail, and Megs looks simply poweful. I think you may have a fighting chance indeed with this entry.
The mouth-are looks a bit odd tho.
If you want me too, I could help and do the flattening, to take away the most tedious part of the colouring. But I think that you may have to ink in some more of the details you pencils. They're kinda hard to see in this piece.

Thanks for the comments, Predabot.
Yah, I know the mouth looks a bit weird because overall the pic came out somewhat pixely.
anyways here's some slow preview colors.
If ya wanna try, you could do a Cryotek and Fox Kids Tarantulas version just for kicks (the flats anyways).

Acidwings colouring isn't quite done in that pic Lasewave. I'm sure it'll look awesome when it's done.
I'm pretty much swamped with far too many pieces of artwork wich I've told myself to make something cool on.
So that's why I'm currently only giveing these small offerings of small help with some simple flats.
I've decided I need to learn to complete what I start!

It looks great man, Megs mouth looks much better even. Love that the eyes look totally malevolent with some creative colouring.
I think the only thing that may need some tweaking is the smoke coming out of the dragons mouth, the texture looks a bit out of place, and there's a cut in one of the pillars, that makes it look rather odd.

Thanks for pointing those out. I agree with the smoke effect being not so consistent witht the rest of the pic (it's my first time trying to paint it:/).Predabot wrote:It looks great man, Megs mouth looks much better even. Love that the eyes look totally malevolent with some creative colouring.

I'll see if I can make it more "anime"-ish, for lack of a better term.
As for the pillars, do you mean those black stalactite structures on the upper right, where Meg's wings are?
Best First-thanks!

Yer welcome. I'm glad I could be of some help, as small as it may be.AcidWing wrote:Thanks for pointing those out.
Nope, not up there acctually. I meant pillars, as in pillars of smoke! Bad wording on my part, I'm afraid. I meant where the completely black rock meets the textured smoke. As for the pillars, do you mean those black stalactite structures on the upper right, where Meg's wings are?
It looks a bit odd there, the first thing that comes to ones mind is not rock obscuring the view, rather it makes it look as if the texture has simply been cut. I think the solution may be to make the "black rock" more obvious, give it a few high-lights along the rim or something.
I hope this is helpfull.
