Yeah, add my voice to the chorus of "Go do more work so we can look at the pretty pictures!"
Even in this early DH strip, your sense of pacing, storytelling, and paneling is already starting to show, which is the most amazing and awesome thing to me.

I may just try and save a few days to do a special Transfans piece of TF art. I'm still trying to find time to do the 'build a 'bot' topic, and a HISS tank TF for young Covenant.
And write my book. And catch up on my DVDs. And deal with hospital stuff. And try and fit in some sleep. I'm on this forum every day for at least an hour too.
Still, ONE new pic can't hurt the timetable too much, can it?
If only we had 70 hour days...

I know what you mean. I tend to do short strips (ooer) as four pages, which means that I have to compress things a bit more. Then I have certain art tricks that I want to include (the blasting the last few creatures running panels bit). I should have gone up to at least six pages - although I could probably do it easily with four now.Predabot wrote:That Robocop-pic is bloody incredible.
As for your first comic, the DH one is rather good. I can't help but feel a bit confused by it tho, everything goes down so fast, and your storytelling skills didn't seem to quite have matured yet.
I much prefer doing comics with more pages (usually 22 pages, similar to real comics), where you have room to create. Thsoe four pages certainly limited DH's character.
I've got a load of pages of a hulking guy battling his way up a building which I'd like to post. It's just a running battle with little dialogue and great violent deaths. Does it matter if I post the images here, or would it be better if I just post a load of links to Imageshack for the pages? I don't know how lots of pics (13 I think) affects the loadtimes of the thread.
