I did consider redoing the lettering and bubbles/boxes with CorelDraw or something to make them clearer, but that 'being a lazy bast' problem reared it's ugly noggin once again.

The saving and magnifying thing's a good idea though - p'raps Pred may want to try that. Apologies to all - I usually just have nice big files for my artwork because I just save them or print them out - I still suck at this compression and beautifying stuff.

Also, anyone notice the BW Megs had two 'n's in his name? That's so I could say Megatron/Megatronn without the reader being confused as to who I meant. I was going to make it 'Meggatron', but the word 'egg' jumped out at me too easily (this was years ago, mind). Lucky that there was 'Prime' and 'Primal' already.

Egg!

@_@

It's nice stuff Autobloke, really.

And since I noticed it on the previous page, while we're apparently dropping cowls and faceplates; In real life I'm Charles (Chuck) Daniel (Dan) Ritchie, and I'm very, very boring. ^_^

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Hey, I'm sin shell online. Offline, I'm the quiet one that has nothing to add. Sometimes I can't even make the thoughts in my head come out as a proper sentence. I guess that's why I'm so well suited for online customer service (one aspect of my job).

I have to rein myself in while I'm here. I'm probably ten times more offensive and rude in real life. I scare people. I doubt anyone would want to meet the uncensored me. I talk crap far too much, so I hope that I don't annoy too many posters here - I'm toning down and it's hard to fight my nature sometimes.

And I bet you're a party animal after a few bevvies really.

True, I was. But, haven't had a drink in getting close to four years now.

Beer tastes so bloody horrible these days, and I resent wasting the cash down the pub.
Gives us quiet ones more time for storywriting, eh?

Which disappears once the ring goes on and the spawn falls out!

Yikes, sorry. It's funny though, the last drink I had (okay, to be honest the last bottle of Southern Comfort I had) was one Saturday while writing.

Trying to get back on topic before our posts disappear in a puff of bong smoke though; About your comic. Carbotron huh. Could I ask how exactly Optimus Prime ended up as Primal in a race of folks (that appear to have started out on their saga the same was Cybertron did) from another planet? They're from the future right?

This is great work.

You really really should keep it up you know.

Script is good too, characterisations for Ratchet and Wheeljack pretty spot on.

I'm starting to think between your stuff and MV's, we should really think about hosting some stuff at Transfans.

Wheeljack already asked that. There's some alternate dimensional jiggery-pokery going on, but it isn't a straightforward alternate dimension - there's a god-like race that's linking realities via ancient temples for a particular reason.

Oh my God! - that sounds like the friggin' Vok messing with stuff. Predabot was right - the similarites ARE freaky!

My head swells with the praise though - I'll not fit in the forum soon. Honestly, I've seen way better artwork from a lot of other people on the 'net. (Ah, but can they tell a story too? ;) )
We should have a topic where members each post a pic of a certain TF each week that they've drawn (a bit like the 'Character Discussion' threads - but with artwork). You can tell a lot by which particular design style that is used. That might be fun for the Transfans community.

That's where the draw has always been for me.

Good boy. Now we're on the same page. I often get this 'problem' in many things I do. Art is one of them. ;)

's ok man! :) A little bit of logic fills in a few holes by a few words. Compression and beautifying aint that hard, you can ask IMpy and he'll give you the run-down or a link. Not me tho, since, well, I'm a lazy bast!

I find the new mech-style quite boring, mainly because everybody's at it, but also because it often lacks character and is hard to follow. You're a natural at the storytelling aspects - go do more! ;)

Def. Part 2 is ace, particularly Primal's flashback sequence and the way the ships cross all the panels in the last page from origin to crashlanding. Very nice.
Plus it's a great plot and has ace dialogue. I hope you keep at it, Autobloke, you're very good.

*pricks up ears* Death's Head?

Seriously, this is cool stuff. It's a story I would have liked to have read - the pacing makes you always want to find out what's happening next, nice one - and yeah, compliments on the artwork again.
I particularly like the third page of part 3. The main background illustration and Bumblebee transforming are really great...you've got a very appealing style.

Cheers for sharing. :)

I used to do one of those three-panel cartoons in a local paper, so I learned the 'set-up, reveal, tease' trick ages ago.

I'll have a dig about for the DH stuff.
There's another of my pics in the 'Vote for comic woman' thread if you're interested.
