Story:
Unlike the relatively few, more fortunate Decepticons such as Ravage, who were pardoned and reformatted into Predacons after the Great War, the triple-changer Decepticon known as AcidWing was sentenced for termination due to his war crimes. Aware of his situation, he stole a transwarp shuttle and narrowly escaped destruction from Autobot-Maximal security forces to a previously unexplored region of the galaxy. There, he was able to locate the distress signal that intermittently called to him when he first acquired his 3rd alt-mode (beast) from Shockwave long ago. Initially, what AcidWing discovered was what he believed to be a dead husk of a world, filled with fossilized remains of "space jockies," and strange organic, yet mechanical organisms that resembled his strange beast mode... Curious to investigate further, this proved fatal as his escape ship was badly damaged by latent, ancient alien tech. Nowhere to go and stuck in a comatose state, AW awoke thousands of years later, in a newly refomatted Predacon Alien body. However, during this "rebirth," the process was not so refined and for some time, he served as head of the elite Royal Guard unit under the Empress Queen of the HIve, believing indeed he was a real, native of the planet.
But fate would not let AW forget his TF heritage. On a routine hunt, AW and the Empress Queen Alien were heavily attacked, captured and transported to prehistoric Earth in order to harvest new hunt locations. Here, he became conscious of his Cybertronian identity and now has become entangled in the Predacons' agenda to win the Beast Wars.
