Okay, this is going to show a bit of my computer illiteracy (at least relative to most of you guys on here), but how do I make a sig?
I understand the basic concepts of uploading a picture and all that jazz, but where can I get a cheap program that lets me doctor the image or cut n' paste?

You'll need GTK+ (install that first) then the Gnu Image Manipulation Program [aka GIMP]. It's a freebie photoshop clone, and imo is pretty good for the money
