Post by Hound » Tue Jul 12, 2011 8:25 pm

Seibertron have posted a 7 page preview of ongoing 22, which I believe is the first written by James Roberts.

Looks very promising

Xarron! VVH! Shanix! Impactor!

Ah, it's great having an excellent writer who knows what's up.
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

Let's not say things we can't take back.

I don't intend to.

At any rate, I stopped reading the ongoing after the anti North Korea/China propaganda started creeping its way into the comic.

Infestation was a rather big letdown to me as well.

But this looks promising.

Doesn't it though.

Altho for the record i'd say AHM and M:O are equally pump.

The big poo I had at work last night was better than AHM, but you wouldn't want the ongoing to follow up on that would you?

i'd probably take that over the first 18 issues to be honest.

I'll elaborate on my previous statement, I don't consider Megatron Origin to be a good story. Story had great potential but the execution wasn't all that good.

Megatron went from exploited worker to evil asshole inbetween issue #1 and #2. It would have been far more interesting to flesh out the events that happend inbetween those issues.

Also, the battle with Sentinel Prime was rather contrived.

As bad as that story was, I still consider it to be better then AHM which the ongoing had been based on.

At any rate, I consider #22 to be a step up from the previous writing.
