Since it's the Wreckers, I think headless bodies are strangely appropriate. Desu ne?DJ_Convoy wrote:Hmm- I have very little in the way of customizing skill, so I hope they have appropriate bodies in mind for these-

Umm... do itashimashte?
My japanese is about as "strong" as my high school spanish- I recognize words here and there. If I went to Japan this very second- the two things I could confidently say are "Ima nan ji desu ka?" and "Chotto sotto mitte kudasai."
I believe you're asking was my class fun? To which I'd reply yes, until it was cancelled due to lack of students. The class was huge for the first semester, until we started to learn hirigana, katakana and kanji and so forth... and then the bottom fell out and they cancelled the course. Leaving me with only the ability to read "Macross" and "Kami hami ha" in japanese. Viva romanji!
I get excited when I watch, say, some tokatsu, and some one will say "densetsu no senshi" and I'll turn to my girlfriend and say "That means legendary warriors!" She'll be impressed for a half second until she asks me what someone else said and I have no idea.

For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

Are you kidding me? I'll be armed with a workbook! I expect full fluency in days.
The host lady is great- it sounds like she's reading her lines phonetically. English as a third or fourth language...
I can't remember the name, but there was a soap opera on PBS when I was a kid that was supposed to teach you entry-level spanish. I'd watch it when I was home sick from school or whatever. It was almost like learning.
