Post by Professor Smooth » Fri Jun 03, 2011 2:25 pm

I-Gear, one of the many small companies producing new Transformers-themed accessories has announced a new line of Wreckers-themed heads. These heads are based on Nich Roche's Last Stand of the Wreckers series. You can check out all the pics mirrored at Seibertron.com.

The line includes:

Rotorstorm
Pyro
Guzzle
"Fisitron" Ironfist

This is great news for those who aren't looking to spend $150+ on the just released Animated Fisitron.

Hmm- I have very little in the way of customizing skill, so I hope they have appropriate bodies in mind for these-
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

Since it's the Wreckers, I think headless bodies are strangely appropriate. Desu ne?

All those years of watching anime finally paid off. Oh, and that crash course in Japanese in community college. :)

Umm... do itashimashte? :)

My japanese is about as "strong" as my high school spanish- I recognize words here and there. :) If I went to Japan this very second- the two things I could confidently say are "Ima nan ji desu ka?" and "Chotto sotto mitte kudasai." :)

I believe you're asking was my class fun? To which I'd reply yes, until it was cancelled due to lack of students. The class was huge for the first semester, until we started to learn hirigana, katakana and kanji and so forth... and then the bottom fell out and they cancelled the course. Leaving me with only the ability to read "Macross" and "Kami hami ha" in japanese. :) Viva romanji!

I get excited when I watch, say, some tokatsu, and some one will say "densetsu no senshi" and I'll turn to my girlfriend and say "That means legendary warriors!" She'll be impressed for a half second until she asks me what someone else said and I have no idea. :)
For now, it seems like IDW wants my money.

That may have been the best post I've ever read on this board. :)

Once I watch famed 80's Japanese show for gaijin "Let's Learn Japanese," watch out!

If you can learn Japanese from that show, you're some kind of savant.

Are you kidding me? I'll be armed with a workbook! I expect full fluency in days. ;)

The host lady is great- it sounds like she's reading her lines phonetically. English as a third or fourth language...

I can't remember the name, but there was a soap opera on PBS when I was a kid that was supposed to teach you entry-level spanish. I'd watch it when I was home sick from school or whatever. It was almost like learning. :)

Those heads are freaking super. I wonder what bodies they fit.
