I don't like Michael Bay. I hated ROTF. I hate TF that look like piles of metal shavings.

But that trailer was ****** awesome.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Ok, I agree with the above, I hate TF that look like melting vaginas, but that was good!

Was that a CG UN building? If so it looked ropey as hell.

The rest of it looks TEH AWESOME though. As it rightly should. In this day and age, if your big budget franchise CG trailer looks ****, you're doing something wrong.

I mean even the bloody Strause Brothers know how to make trailer fodder.

Yep. Bumblebee, Optimus, and all those piles of metal shavings looked pretty sweet.

Seconded.

TBH I started feeling nauseous after the first 30 seconds of sweeping camera pans and endless fade-ins and fade-outs.

I think it's great that TF has developed into this really diverse creature that manages to cover several bases at once, but all of them separately.

You've got cartoons for people who value in-jokes over coherent narrative.
You've got big dumb blurry popcorn action movies for people like me.
You've got a shockingly bad comic for Yaya.

So long as you don't want something that's genuinely brilliant, it's all good in the hood man. But the percentage of TF that's ever been good has been in freefall ever since somebody rubberstamped the notion of Minicons, so it's pretty much representative.

There's a point in there somewhere. I'm not sure where though. I'm sleepy.

sigh.

I'd quite like a competent comic for the rest of us.
