Or do one big poo in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I bet they weren't even excited by and then subsequently disappointed by Star Wars Prequels. Or have a glass full of spare change near their beds. That they don't have.

Not a bad trailer.

So... err... what's the story supposed to be? Some sort of Unicron-probe crashlanded on the moon?

Lyndon Johnson was in reality replaced by a Transformer? Eh. Who knows.

Oh....

I get it now.

So the moon landings as we know them were 'faked', but what the missions really did was investigate an alien crash site. The Eagle didn't land at Tranquility, but at Tycho.

A double-bluff! The conspiracy theorists would never expect that!

No explosions, though. Are we sure it's "A Michael Bay Film" ?

Liked the music. I simply can't stand the main score for TF.

Other than that, not much to get excited about. Surprise, surprise.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

I thought it was okay. Kind of annoying, but eh. I'll see it.

Ryan (the Seibertron guy) once admitted to distrusting my judgement about Transformers, since I seemed to like everything. Not true. There's plenty I don't like. It's just that, when hanging around with friends who share the hobby, I don't really feel like discussing what I don't like. Case in point, the Transformers movies. Plenty of stuff in both (and soon, likely, all three) that I didn't like. But they weren't without their good points.

With the first TF movie, I justified buying the ticket(s) out of curiosity, and because it would be cool to see Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime again. Was not disappointed. Seeing it once in the cinema would have been enough, but I just happened to find myself on vacation in a group of TF fans. So, what to do? Let's see it again!

Justified the cost of the DVD because, "hey, buy 2, get one 1 free" and "hey, DVDs aren't 40 bucks each in the US! Woo! Easy buy!" (Also bought Lost in Translation and the first volume of Voltron, if you must know.)

Later justified the cost of the blu-ray because my OCD would never let me own TF1 on DVD and TF2 on blu-ray. Hell, it bugs me because one has a slipcase and the other doesn't.

I only watched the second TF movie in the cinema once. But this was in Japan, where movie tickets are 20 bucks each. Was kind of worried after the little robot's dick-cannon, gay-dog sex, and stoned Sam's Mom. But then Optimus Prime hit Megatron with a tree he yanked out of the ground and a bunch of construction equipment combined into a huge-ass robot. 20 bucks well spent. Got the Blu-Ray for Christmas last year.

TF3 will, I'm sure, have at least one or two things that I enjoy enough to justify the purchase of a ticket. The afforementioned OCD will be enough to guarantee a blu-ray purchase. I mean, I bought Spider-Man 3. And that was a movie that, after the initial viewing, I opted against watching it on a plane.

If TF3 turns out to be the end of this series, maybe Simon Furman will get back into writing the main-universe stuff. Or finish up Necro-War. That'd be cool too.
