TF Comic News from Botcon (or lack thereof)

Kind of disappointed by the scantiness of news from Botcon by IDW.

Essentially, they mostly 'revealed' things that we know have been in the pipeline for a while, like the Cliffjumper and Metroplex spotlights, and AHM Coda. We already knew a possible ongoing was in the works. I was hoping to get a little more info on the direction of the new series, like who's writing it and what the premise might be.

I mean, how am I supposed to get enthused when some of the new revelations involve things like "no more Spotlights for a while", "nah, The Thirteen ain't happenin" and "there might be another G.I.Joe/TF crossover in the works"?

Most of the new news involves the movieverse and Animated. Not really a big fan of either.

I don't know why I care anymore that they canceled another Furman series.

Wreckers miniseries is in the works
That's a potential for cheer though surely?

Depending on the writer i guess.

Break from Spotlights is a shame - they have probably been the most consistant source of TF goodness.

Either way i agree its news light and i could not be less interested in another GI Joe Crossover.
