"Tipton then announced Transformers Spotlight: Cliffjumper, a one-shot set in the standard Transformers continuity rather than that of the films. The issue will be written by Shane McCarthy (Transformers: All Hail Megatron, Star Wars Tales) and Tipton and illustrated by Robby Russo. The issue will focus on the titular Transformer and deal with loose ends of the current All Hail Megatron story arc. Don Figueroa will be doing an alternate cover."
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Linkage to the quote's source?

They couldn't fix the loose ends in twelve issues?

(goes off to read something that is definitely not an IDW comic)

Sigh. I'm frusterated.

In the Newsarama write up, it's like

IDW PANEL
TRANSFORMERS MOVIE CRAP TRANSFORMERS MOVIE CRAPTransformers Comic ContinuityGI JOE MOVIE CRAP GI JOE MOVIE CRAP

I mean, can't they at least say, "Yeah, we're going to put out 6-10 issues in TF comic continuity" But instead, they're like, "Oh, you comics fans want something? Here's a bow to put on that **** sandwich you're buying. Merry Christmas".

Yeah, because it was the panel about comic adaptations of the upcoming movies. Hey, but as long as you can have another opportunity to shout a bit, it's all great.

I still love you, Shants. And a bow on a [composite word including 'f*ck'] sandwich is pretty funny.

Ouch. I guess since the actual IDW panel didn't say a peep about TF, when I saw IDW and TF together there, I just assumed they were discussing IDW TF comics as a whole.

But "another" opportunity to shout a bit? Am I really one of the shouters on here? :?:

I'm so sick of seeing AHM stuff, all through this year. God.

AHM: Coda! Spotlights Cliffjumper, Drift and Jazz! All relating to AHM in some way. About the only thing I think could be untainted would be Metroplex.

Gahhh. Being a TF comics completist is really losing its appeal.
