Okay, my bro was there. Here's what he said (someone else please provide the details):
1. A Metroplex spotlight on the way. I think it's written by Andy Schmidt. The panels will be double page throughout.
2. A new four-part miniseries follows AHM, each issue with two 11-page stories. The series is called All Hail Megatron: Coda and will bridge the gap between and set the stage for some "very huge, secret plans."
3. New writer's, in addition to Simon and Shane, will be doing this. I think he mentioned there were three others, but not sure who they were. Mowry, I don't think, was one of them.
Awaiting for someone to officially confirm all this with more details who was actually there.

"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

How many chances is McCarthy going to get after the AHM debacle? I mean AHM:Coda?
Spotlight: Metroplex should be worth a gander though. Oh, and I like how the article managed to mispell "Drift"

I had a hard time accepting Wildman's TFs who had teeth and tongues back then, but I Milne goes the extra mile to make them all look like vampires...

Here's Newsarama's summary of the panel in more detail:

I really liked TWW and somehow seem to have misplaced a lot of my issues.
Hence I am all over this plan for a 300 page book, great news.
****** ell, was it really that long ago that it was out? jayzus that has gone quick.
Remember Wildman got a lot of IMO undeserved criticism for his art which I really liked.

I was one of those people who dished out that misplaced criticism.snarl wrote:

I saw his original pencils, which were fantastic. It was the coloring that detracted from his work.
But you know what, even the coloring kind of grew on me after a while.

It was the total lack of an inker that runied his work... some background bots looked like big blocks without faces... I guess some bigwig figured they'd cut down on the salaries (which they didn't plan to pay anyhow) if they did not hire an inker.
Shame though - Darke Ages is my fav. DW comic. Trypticon alone makes the whole thing wort reading, plus there is character development for bots we hardly ever saw this happen before, like the Protectobots, a wonderfull re-invention of the character of Jetfire, "young" Bludgeon and his cohorts, Grimlock being badass and yet having his aft handed to him, Shocky once again saving the day, Prowl in command... and the Fallen of course, the proverbial thread-puller.
I still say, the 6-issue format ruins comics nowadays. How much better would it have been if Dark Ages would have been an ongoing comic like Energon -we'd have seen individual episodes from character's lives like the Ultracon/Wrecker skirmish, and have had the ongoing plot by the Fallen run in the background to surface here and there.
Ah, well, it still sucks that we never got to see the last 3 issues of TWW3 due to Pat Lee wanting to milk a dead horse (pardon the weird proverb).
