Holy sweet Primus...
http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&a ... 0&start=20
I mean, Animated rocks (Shockwave is a must-have and Swindle and Blurr are ace too), Universe is excellent (who would have thought we'd get a new Crankcase toy?) but 25th...
-G1 Hound and what might be the best Ravage toy ever...
-G1 Cyclonus and Nightstick!!! So you don't have to shell out 150$ for a G1 one to play off his death in Marvel UK with the toys...
-An anatomically accurate BW Cheetor who actually looks like a real cheeath in beast mode!
-A Voyager G1 Inferno (bit too boxy but I like it)
-Legends-sized minibots BB, Brawn, Beachcomber and Cosmos!
2009 is gonna be a great year!

Cyclonus is mos def the coolest thing in there.
I thought Brawn and Beachcomber were pretty good, Cosmos and Bumblebee less so.
And big love for the Robot Heroes RiD Optimus Prime, of course.
Speaking of RiD Optimus Prime, looks like he's the inspiration for the Voyager Inferno, with the boxy front and equally boxy arms.
Voyager Inferno. Who was clamoring for a Voyager Inferno? Probably the same people that gave us a Masterpiece Starscream.

Apparently, from the Q&A session it was revealed that ladder firetracks are not 'rad' anymore, that's why he's a simple firehose truck. His missile looks like a splash of water, btw. I have a strong feeling that he's mistransformed - the way he looks on the pic, he reminds me of the KO chinese truck TFs, you know, the ones which have die-cast.Best First wrote:I love InfernoShanti418 wrote:Voyager Inferno. But the toy looks a bit meh compared to his grooby original.
Speaking of 'rad', when will we see a new Rad toy?
And don't forget Guzzle. I never got over it that we got G2 versions of the other Sparklers, but not him...

Cyclonus is fantastic, really can't wait to angst over the old "shall i keep MIB or open it" chestnut on that one.
Hound was a little less cool, but that ravage is genius. Can't quite see how thats going to fit into G1 soundwave, but I'll take their word for it.
Inferno looks a little dated. Shame really.
The rest I can take or leave really. Oh, except animated Blurr, which is pretty good looking if a little anorexic.

Didn't create a new topic for these news:
Lots of new pics of the 25th releases, as well as new animated toys!
http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-new ... es-165826/
And the best part...
The Last Autobot!
Sweet holy Primus!!! And I call myself an advocate of Furmanism, when I did not notice this at first!!!
To my excuse, I did make a comparison pic on the go!
Heck, I remember, back when the first VP pics came out, many of us theorized this might be the Last Autobot... How quickly we forget!
At any rate, I doubt his release is a coincidence - the 13 is also coming, and I'm pretty sure that Vector Prime/Last Autobot will feature in that one...
Now after so many years, we can create our "End of the Road" dioramas - all you need is a Bludgeon, an AM G1 Prime, and the new Universe Vector Prime!
