Furman confirms: Maximum Dinobots / BotCon IDW round-up

Spinning out of Spotlight: Grimlock, and helping to bridge the year-long chronological gap between Revelations and All Hail Megatron.

See also Repugnus's ace report from the IDW panel at BotCon, which infers the series will come along in about October.

Cool, after two years we are truly in need in some Grimlock-style butt-kicking.

Though it worries me that now IDW states "there are absolutely no autobots on Earth" during AHM... So where do Grimmy and Sunstreaker and Hot Rod go? Ah well, at least we can occupy ourselves with Maximum while the cartoon fans munch AHM.

Sad that the 13 is pushed to next year... But I'm glad they got the rights to the Fallen... That guy has potential. Wonder how they'll handle Star Saber. Guy's pretty much a blank state for Furman to build up...

It's been touted as 2009 for a while now. Ties in with the 25th anniversary push... I think Hasbro are being a bit hands-on in deciding exactly which TFs were the first.

Hasbro-owned character, hence the Titanium. As far as I know, all characters debuting in the fiction are Hasbro-owned. :)

Apparently Ark-2 is an art book, so I doubt Furman'll have much to do in that regard.

No, I mean this (from TFW2005):
Starsabre may show up in the first 13 miniseries - IDW are currently negotiating to see what they can and cannot use.

Link? For context?

Given that the Tformers report of the Q&A seemed to be written by somebody who had no idea what was going on.
