Transformers Universe Classics Onslaught Revealed

Just saw this posted on Seibertron. Onslaught is the first of the five new Wave 1 figures to be revealed from the forthcoming Universe Classics line.

I'm not sure I like it. All of the other classics at least showed a massive resemblence to the original figures, I would never have guessed that this was Onslaught!

That could be because Onslaught isn't exactly one of the best remembered characters. His design seemed a little off at first but after I compared the original and the Classics version I see the resemblence. It's mainly in the head, legs, and con symbol location, but it's there. I still wish his vehicle mode was a little more G1-ish, but it doesn't detract from his sheer awesomeness.

I wonder if we'll get the other combaticons and a combination ability. Anyone here subscribe to the TFCC magazine and willing to selectively leak info when it arrives?

He's close enough for me - dual turrets on the back, black head with red visor, overall blue body with military green markings. He even has his handgun, integrated though.

I really hope it's a combiner, but some Botcon guy says it's not, which would be a wasted opportunity.

If he was a darker blue/green (like he was in G1) then he'd be even more recognisable...
