Shane McCarthy working on a new Transformers comic

Shane's own website has mentioned for a while now that he's working on a new Transformers series for IDW, and Pinch over at IDW has found a post on his blog where he comfirms that this is the case. He's keeping the exact nature of the project under his hat, but certainly seems excited by the prospect:

Oooh.

I've been wondering, actually. In 2006 we got Evolutions and Stormbringer. In 2007 we got a slew of movie stuff and Megs Origin. What does 2008 hold in store in terms of "supplementary" TF stuff.

Ah' dunno'.

He's been on Liam Sharpes Event Horizon anthology, and he's been on that there Dee-tecteeve Co-meecs.

We'll see. He might surprise us, he appears to be mostly a writer tho? Maybe he'll be with Don on next years summer-spectacular.
