How do blasters 'DW style galvatron' legs, fold up into this cassette mode?

Still looks cool tho, id like to see the blaster of cybertron tho, pre fallen to earth days. actually, scrap that, he was good in the scraplets stuff too.

Going by his chest config in the "damaged" shots, I'd guess that's his Cybertronian robot mode.

Especially compared with the art for the cover.

Alas... that is if it's the hard as nails Blasters, the one that turns from mild-mannered rapper when he folds up his antennae and folds down his combat-visor, into a bad-ass with only Grimmers as peer.

These pages certainly gives off the right vibe tho.

And hey! I kind of almost knows the artist a bit!

Good to see that Emiliano's finally gotten some more mainstream work in the US. ( Those of you who have not read Masters of the Universe, may recall his short fill-in on G.I Joe/Transformers 2)

I gotta send him a post to congratulate him! Now I get what that thread I saw was about...

If this is Budiansky Blaster, and not the Rappin Disaster, I'm so there.

I can't think of too many characters that I loved more in the Marvel TF run than Blaster.

Having him look like that Blaster is a good start.

It's a HIGHLY anticipated issue for all of us, no doubt.

Not sure how I feel about the head sculpt, though. I like the IDEA of marrying Marvel Blaster's Visor with Cartoon Blaster's Face, but it look like he's wearing a facemask.

Aye. And its gonna take a mighty convincing yarn to enable another anchronistic, mass-shifting, earth alt-mode. As long as its nothing as convenient as Monstructor's weak spot, then we'll be alright!

But, seriously, I don't think Furman would attempt this without a tip of the hat to Budiansky Blaster. That would be suicidal......
