Attention MP-05 owners: Check your die-cast for rust.

I thought this was important enough to be news, but if it isn't please move this to the toy forum.

Anyway, I was reading on Seibertron last night that nearly everyone's MP-05's feet and metal frame are rusting badly, dubbing it Cosmic Rust. I went and checked mine and all metal on him has turned a golden brown, so I figure anyone who owns Megatron here is most likely experiencing the same thing.

These are the recommended treatments for the metal parts after removing them from the figure:

• Soak in vinegar to remove rust.

• Apply WD40 to a rag and gently wipe down for protection.

• Apply a clear coat for protection.

I'm currently using the vinegar treatment on his feet and nearly all the rust is gone already.

Just wanted to let everyone know.
