TF: Animated Decepticons Revealed at Comic-Con

Click.
My opinion: I'm dissapointed. Starscream has a "Super Chin
TM" and it appears that Megatron is going to be the same metal wreck we saw in the movie. The others look too much like humans in suits for my tastes. My hopes for this series are fading. If this streak continues, Hasbro's gonna lose a well paying fan.

I dunno - I kind of like Screamer. His face pretty much mirrors his personality.
Megs does have the 'spikey' syndrome, but at least he has a face, and a fusion cannon, unlike his movie brother.
Blackarachnia looks great - she has the same helmet that covers the sides of her mouth she had in her pre-Transmetal form.
I wonder who the guy with the monocle and the Shockwave-wannabe are... my guesses are the tall guy is Blitzwing and the one-eyed is this new character who is purple-green and transforms into a TWW Jetfire-like jet.

I don't even know what to think about it yet.
Of course the first one I even bothered to look at was Starscream and it kinda shocked me at first.
I don't hate it, it just has to grow on me like everything else I've seen for this series.
I do have to say both Megs and the Screamer look crazy, so that'll work out probably.
The Autobots have already grown on me, now it's time for the Decepticons.
I'm still working on my army...call me in 2 years.
I'll destroy you then.

I like 'em too. I'm all for the human faces, Andy Wildman cured me of THAT neurosis a loong time ago.

I'm all for the human faces,
ditto, that's why I wasn't that enamored with the movie designs.
Taking a look at these cartoon designs, I can say they're obviously not meant to appeal to long-time fans of the transformers, they're to appeal to movie fans who really know nothing about them. I'm not a fan of that kind of art style, but that's just me personally. It always makes me think of Johnny Bravo, which was pretty cheap animation wise. Everything to the extreeeeeeme lol, but like I said, I'm not their target audience.

The sad thing is, this is the ONE TIME that Megatron's G1 face would fit right in, and they went with that movie head anyway. Bloody well done.

I'm for human faces, too, but they took it to the point where Blackarachnia looks like a human wearing a helmet. I like my Transformers to have human faces, but with the occasional faceplate, plate seam, color difference, or battle damage to be a reminder of their alien qualities. Seeing these designs in color may win me back over, but right now I can't get comfortable with them.

I think they look awesome. I'm really impressed with the designs I have seen so far.
