It's great! There is a review embargo until July 1st, but then I'll be posting a full review of the movie.

And so it has begun.

Saw you're one-line review on your blog Paul ;)

I'm not sure if it's true for everyone, but I saw that it's supposed to come out on the 3rd now.
Although I've seen show times for the 2nd by my house.

me and Pops were ahead of Furman in the queue. Har.

Basically its Bad Boys but the cars turn into Robots. That was Pops summary and he be correct.

Its not how i would have done it and requires total brain suspension but its worth seeing - certain bits are amazing.

OK, I'm going to need a period of time to assimilate and deal with this fact. I always had a shred of hope that this wouldn't be the case locked up somewhere deep inside my heart.

At least it's like Bad Boys and not Bad Boys II, right Paul? RIGHT PAUL???? [/panics]

It's got a lot of positives. It is good film. In places it has clearly been designed to please the fans. Oh I'd love to say more. I'm busy writing my review, so hard not to publish before the 1st!

Actually I thought it more echoed 'The fast and the furious'

All you need to know to put your mind at ease is, Prime is great! Everyone is going to enjoy this movie.

Mr. Roboto has seen the movie and is doing a pretty solid Q and A about the small tidbits (and changes from the script, which I'm sorry to say are few indeed) over at TFW2005. For those who don't mind to be spoiled. I've started a small discussion about the facts we know for sure now, if anyone wants to join - funny how I rarely see anyone from Transfans over there.

I had a look at Roboto's Q&A, sadly the general theme seems to be "LOL it had an explosion AND a robot in it! That was the greatest movie evaaaaaah!" and most of the questions seem to be about whether Megatron's gun sounds like it does in the cartoon and if the girl in it is 'hot'. I don't doubt this movie will be a hit if the people watching it are really that mindless.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- they knew exactly what they were doing with the movie and targetted their demographic perfectly.

You know, it's funny. A few minutes ago I was going to give some reasons why I don't go to TFW or any other big TF board, but I decided against it. Then, I go back to the forum index to find out that you summed it up better than I could've ever hoped for. Thanks, Karly.

I'm already dying of anticipation about this movie.
All this is just going to make me implode before the movie even comes out. That will be a sad day for me.

I bought the book today. o.O
There's no way I'm reading it until I've seen the film though.

And bear in mind that the Junkions talked pretty much exclusively in tv and film quotes... and I've never seen/heard anybody complain about that.

But then Bumblebee never used to. Apparently Boomer's a chick, too.

Yeah, but at least Wreck Gar SAID his lines, as opposed to if he opened his mouth and out came a little old lady saying, "Where's the Beef?"

So I don't mean to be pushy, but could you give us a rough rating, BF? Something on the out of 10/four stars type thing. It sounds so far as if you fancied it. And the idea of the movie being something fanciable is revolutionary, IMO.

Which, for the large part, were gibberish.

I've been known to speak in nothing but song lyrics for entire days. Seriously. Hell, if I could work it logistically, I'd love to just be able to play fragments of the songs in order to communicate.

And I hear the Cylons look like humans now? Sucks.
