That makes no sense!

That makes as little sense as Bayformers! Which is rubbish because... uhm... Apollo is now Adama's son?

WHERE'S MY REWARD?

I just saw the movie in a pre-premiere kind of thing. It was much, much better than I dared to hope it would be.

In fact, I really liked it.

Highly recommended.

I just want to know...
Does Starscream really only have one line in the movie?

hmm, i don't think he has many more than that.

You may be shocked to hear that this is not exactly a dialogue driven film.

i really don't know how to score it.

and don't get me wrong, there are things about it i was significantly less keen on - Frenzy being one.

However, and this is important, there is a quality wanking gag in there.

Frenzy was a star wars pod droid, plain and simple.

Yes, did the US Army export Freedom across the militant Decepticons to liberate the peace loving autobots? Did they?? ;)

I might as well hear this from a trustworthy source: Is it true that Jazz says "What's crackin', b*tches?"?

Megs had a teeny-weeny small gun that shot some blue laser at Prime and he only used it once.

I have mixed feelings about the Movie - Weaving was better as Megs then I expected, the Bots had pretty OK characterisation, but the first half of the movie was forgettable and the Cons were only big metal hi-then-die monsters, Megs included.

And Frenzy talked like Sebulba... :O

Peter Cullen rocks, BTW. 8)

Yes... :(

He also did a nice break-dance when transforming for the first time, though, so I forgive that.

Actually, in the script, Prime was supposed to talk in Chinese when he talks for the first time, as that's the language most people on earth talk... This was cut, of course. Instead, many jabs at Iran, Nort Korea and Chine were inserted.

Oh and guess what, the Humans killed most of the Decepticons pretty well without Autobot help. The whole movie , especially the last scenes and the attack against Scorponok, felt like a big US army commercial. "We can scrap giant alien robots, punks, so think twice before going to war with Uncle Sam!" Yeah, Megatron, whose armor should withstand a nuclear explosion, turned into swiss cheese by F22 missiles. :( Can't wait for the sequel where Megan Fox plays basketball with Shockwave's head.

Btw, Ironhide was plain irritating. He was made into a mixture of Grimlock and Hightower from Police Academy and always wanted to shoot something, even Sam's dog... or his parents.

The jokes were lame-ass, especially when the parents think Spike was masturbating in his room... The Witwicky parents are brain-dead, btw. And Agent Simmons is a parody of a real secret agent, the guy with the moustache briefing Jon Voight was a much better actor for that type of secret agency man.

That looks great. I stopped reading when you started describing the film (I'm doing my best to avoid spoilers) but its great to know that Simon and especially Geoff and Andrew were there.

I haven't read any posts here, but just to say that a friend of mine whose opinion I trust summarized it as brainless dreck with groanworthy awful humor and terrible dialog, but with some pleasing action sequences. Is this close?

It's pretty spot-on, except some of the Bot dialoge isn't so terrible, but the movie wastes too much time on bad humor scenes (IE: the garden scene). A hungarian magazine reviewed the movie saying the first half resembles Back to the Future, then it turns into a total Bay action-fest in the last 30 minutes (I must add that BTF had much better humor and plot...)

So, I'm still continuing my own script, I said to myself if the movie turns out to be great, I'll give it up.

i give it 2 thumbs up and 4-4 and a half stars out of five the reason it doesnt get 5 is because all the robots looked too much alike(and too much like bugs) that did not ruin my experience though and i enjoyed it.

I thought it was amazing.
And I thought I was going to be kinda disappointed at the ending, but I wasn't!
I actually clapped.
For the FIRST time ever, I clapped at the end of a movie.
