Wait. Are we even sure the movie is a trainwreck?
I read the script. Seen the designs. "Movie about a boy and his car". Seems pretty obvious to me.
When you're old enough to drive, you'll understand.
Also. How in the hell can you hate this while admitting to collecting Robot Heroes? Have you NO sense of irony?
I love that this is the only board on the entire intarnets where people aren't hating on this to an obscene degree. 25,000 views in the Seibertron version of the topic and damn near everyone is spewing venom.
Where's the irony in collecting Robot Heroes? They're 100% G1 aside from the packaging. You basically asked me how I can hate vegetables when I eat meat, bread, and dairy products.
While we're at it, why have you been persistantly utilizing that chip on your shoulder? Don't think I haven't noticed. It's been attack after attack from you since what happened in GD. Why can't you let it go and move on? I thought you of all people could do that...

Robot heroes have similar strange proportions.
You thought I of all people could do that? I don't know what you think you know about me, but let me be perfectly clear. You annoy the **** out of me. Every time I read one of your posts its something incredibly ignorant (which I chalk to a lack of education) or exceedingly negative (which I chalk up to a lack of social skills putting increased importance on toy robots).

play nice kids, wouldnt wish for this board to just get full of the negative!
Hot shot, just as a bit of advice, what ever you're gonna post if it involves a direct comment to someone that they might take offence to, type it, preview it, read it back and see whether you'd like someone saying it to you. I know your a youngster, and although I don't want to seem ageist, these little suggestions like from the prof will help you out a little. Dont be so touchy!

thing is, while i do think the movie designs could be better, i would be interested for these people who are persistantly whining about, well, everything that is "not g1" to actually come out with some better ideas or decent stylistic suggestions.
rather than, and i'm sorry, but come on, frankly embaressing statements like "This has to be the worst year for TFs. Ever."
Yes, unless you have a stack of superb IDW publications. Or a Masterpiece Megatron. Or a sesne of persepctive.
Why can't people express their dislike in a constructive, or at least humerous fashion?
Essentially - can we be just a little less My Chemical Romance about things please?
I am getting to the point where i feel i may have to actively start liking everything just through fear of being associated with the subjective presented as objective bleating that is going on.
I'm not okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy...

I find myself doing this a lot lately.
I'm psychologically incapable of agreeing with certain people due to the manner in which they express their distaste. Ergo I summon up mass amounts of faux enthusiasm. It gets easier every time, worryingly. Though I die a little inside.

Objectivity? Impartiality? Neutrality? In journalism? What
have you been drinking?
Grrr. Argh.

Really? I thought it had been stated in the past that this series would be written by western writers? And be marketed more to the west than to the East? Unlike the Armada-verse animés?
What's the company called anyway?? And what have they done in the past?

Since when were the two mutually exclusive?
