Transformers At The Moon has teamed up with Paramount UK to bring UK and Ireland Transformers fans the chance to attend the exclusive invitation only UK Press Screening of the Transformers Movie on Friday June 22nd in London. As well as the large amount UK Press that will be attending the event, Paramount UK wanted to make sure that the die hard UK fans weren't left out and thus we at Transformers At The Moon are running this competition to give away several pairs (numbers TBC) of tickets for the event. The event takes place over a month before the UK general release and 6 days before the BotCon showings.

lol, I'm not sure if physical tickets will be sent as the event was changed to a "door list" last week. Originally the plan was to use poster art on the tickets, but I think Paramount ran out of time. I'm not sure if there'll be any press packs given out at the event, most likely it will be at the Oden West End in Leicester Square which is where the licensor 15 minute preview event was held back in March.
Ticket will be given out in pairs, and if interest is strong Paramount will increase the numbers

We in Hungary can win tickets for the first screening on July 2. The site that gives them away raised a very hard question: "Which toy company produces Transformers? : A/Hasbro, B/Mattel, C/Lego"
Or maybe it's a trick question - Lego did produce those horrible Built to Rule toys, no?

No, they didn't. BTR was Hasbro's cheap Lego imitation. Lego would've done a much better job had they'd been the designers.BB Shockwave wrote:Or maybe it's a trick question - Lego did produce those horrible Built to Rule toys, no?
Now you know. And knowing's only half the battle.

Competition update
We've emailed all the winners. Originally we had 8 pairs of tickets to give away, but that was increased to 50 pairs this morning so thank you to everyone who entered as the responses was as much of a reason why Paramount increased the ticket numbers as our nagging.
There is another competition that Paramount Pictures UK are now running themselves. The two winners will be able to attend a online Press Conference in Second Life that is being hosted by Michael Bay. It takes place on Friday 22nd June at 5pm BST. We've already been invited as one of the 43 attendees, although we've never used Second Life before. Because of this, one of us might miss the screening on Friday.

So right about here is where all these years on Transfans pays off, eh? A big-budget TF movie gets made and not only do you wind up seeing it for free, but you do so at the European premiere. Cheers, BF!

You thought... the... was... goood??Best First wrote:i believe i am not allowed as a condition of entry.
Plus i am prone to being over awed by geek stuff - first time i saw it i thought Phantom Menace was good, so my review would potentially be meaningless.
Jesus forgives. But will he forgive that?
Anyhow, have fun all the same

If you have trouble getting in ask for Debbie. She has the full list of winners. Might be worth taking our email with you as well. If Debbie can't find you on the list, she'll ring me to check. If we can't get online in london i'll be there early so might hang around the Paramount door crew incase anyone has trouble getting in but as they have the list of winners it shouldn't be a problem even for those who have not received the email from Paramount.
