struth!
I've never known anybody able to draw like GS- the characters look like they're about to sprint off the page!

That looks fantastic. I love the colouring too.
It's a crying shame the GS isn't drawing comics for a living full-time. There are far less talented artists out there making money out of doing it...

I think what holds him back in some people's eyes is that his work is too individual and stylistic. Whilst we all think it's great, it's not 'normal' comic art, which is a crying shame for everyone missing out on him

It certainly shows off his incredible dynamic.

I personally thinks it's perhaps a bit too simplistic, almost feels a bit early 90's, this colouring. Do we know who the colourist is anyway? And do ye' reckon maybe some of the best of the old colourists could return?
I'm thinking a painted look to Senior would be the bees-knees.

Not that impressed with the colours.
Anyone see Josh Burcham's recoloured Matrix Quest pages? Now they were good.

the only thing i didn't like about them was that he had added motion blur in a few places - the notion that Senior needs the colourist to add dynsnism to his art is not one that sits well with me. Notably grimmers punch on TWing where GS's attempts to convey motion and the impact have basically been drawn over.
i think the notion that "too simplistic" is valid criticism in isolation is a hugely flawed one as well. sometimes some good solid blacks and clear action are far better than lots of detail and a colourist showing off his abilities with light sources.
basically i've seen better colours in my life but it doesn't mess with Geoff's pencils too much which is enough for me.

It's official. Geoff can make anything look better.

I've seen this scene so many times (with different characters in the same poses) during his various comic stints, and each time Geoff has made it look like it was the first time he'd done it.
