It seems that with some new TF movie turning up this summer, all things TF are getting some bonus material to thier name.
The original movie soundtrack will be on release soon and features all the great tracks you recall from the 1980's TF Movie, such as 'Touch' and 'Dare' and some others i cant recall.
More news over at IGN.

Nice that its getting re-released. I've already got it on CD though, so I won't be buying it.
The touch appears on 'Stan Bush and Barrage' (1987 album from Stan Bush and his band), where as dare didn't, which further suggests that The Touch was Stan's song.
I'd like a CD just of DiCola's score, because only a bit of it was on the soundtrack album.
And I'd like a CD copy of Stan Bush and Barrage, because I no longer own a cassette player, and my copy is on tape! Stormin' album that (in an eighties AOR type way). Did anyone else buy it?
I'm pretty sure that Vince DiCola didn't write The Touch. I think it was Stan Bush and some other bloke IIRC. However, I believe he did co-write Dare with Stan Bush. And, of course, DiCola did the score.Predabot wrote: Vince Diccola, the composer of the Touch

I also have this on CD and am now resisting the urge to kick myself for purchasing it in the last 12 months...Scraplet wrote:Nice that its getting re-released. I've already got it on CD though, so I won't be buying it.
No, but I do have a working cassette player. And I'd like a CD copy of Stan Bush and Barrage, because I no longer own a cassette player, and my copy is on tape! Stormin' album that (in an eighties AOR type way). Did anyone else buy it?
You and I could make a beautiful team.Rebis wrote: No, but I do have a working cassette player.

There's this BotCon edition, but I don't know if it is still available (probably not). And thank God they only put three DiCola's tracks on the soundtrack. I listened to whole stuff once or twice and didn't find it a pleasant experience. It's longer than the movie itself and after half an hour or so of that I get enough.Scraplet wrote:I'd like a CD just of DiCola's score, because only a bit of it was on the soundtrack album.

Now, nobody call Rebis uncrasimatic. Or I'll be forced to ignore that report until Monday and leave work at 3 o clock.

If you're judging that on my bad eating habits and lack of dedication to my employer, then you'll relate well to most of the British population!Hot Shot wrote: Are you my long lost brother? We sound so alike that it's eerie.

Didn't most of the British population attend school at some point?Scraplet wrote:If you're judging that on my bad eating habits and lack of dedication to my employer, then you'll relate well to most of the British population!Hot Shot wrote: Are you my long lost brother? I stopped going to school last November, but I'm homeschooled now. I admit that I've been a slacker over the past month, but according to Scraplet one can conclude that it makes me more like a Brit.Professor Smooth wrote:I dunno. Ain't no bashin' I'm a Brit. Just a self depreciating one.Legion wrote:hey hey hey, what's with all the Brit bashing all of a sudden?
But if you wanted to paint a charicature of modern Britain, that is reasonable isn't it? Much closer than ideas of cap-doffing class deference and high tea. Don't be so touchy!
Anyway.....back on topic. I just noticed there are EXTRA Vince DiCola tracks are on this release, as well as an alternative version of the theme with DiCola and Stan Bush. So I might buy it now.
