Robin of Sherwood's Mark Ryan cast as Movie Ironhide UPDATE

Post by Kaylee » Tue May 08, 2007 1:20 pm

Mark Ryan, a good friend of Ray Winston and best known as Nasir the Saracen in HTV's Robin of Sherwood television show in the UK has been cast as Ironhide for both the movie and upcoming video game :)

Thanks to tfw2005 for the news: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=132685

- Update -

Apparently the various reports of this were incorrect- whilst he has done work for the game and voice work for the movie, he has not been specifically cast as Ironhide: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=133080

Hmm, is this a bad or a good thing? I seriously have no idea? :eyebrow:

I rate Mark Ryan and he is a super chap. He frequents the Robin of Sherwood conventions in the UK and is an absolutely lovely bloke.

I'm a little more concerned that the voice for Screamer is rumoured to be Daniel Ross, a transformers fan who happens to do some voices on the side. Rather sour grapes from me for all the years I've been trying to break into commercial voice over.
