WTF, new Soundwave?!?!?
Post
by snarl » Tue Apr 24, 2007 9:41 am
An inventive combination of exciting products, the new Soundwave MP3 player features an all new character mold and fully functional integrated digital music player! Soundwave is available in two colors, the more traditional blue color scheme and also an all white color scheme in honor of the iPod. Soundwave's cassette door opens to reveal a Mini SD card reader (Mini SD card is not included). Batteries are requierd, but not included, we are currently not sure what size batteries are required. More information about this cool new MP3 player will be posted as we receive it. Pick your favorite color or save $15 and get both together in a set! The MP3 player will function in both cassette mode and robot mode. We expect this figure to be slightly smaller than the G1 Soundwave so it can fit comfortably in your pocket. The edges are slightly rounded and it has a smooth look overall in player mode.
Available from BBTS...
That looks grand - but can we get it fo ra tenner without an MP3 player in it?

Looks great!
Frenzy & Rumble pack doesn't look bad either.
Did you spot
iPod Convoy, though?

These are pretty old news actually, I saw them months ago. Too bad they cost so much, otherwise I'd buy myself a Soundwave, I still don't have an Ipod, about time I got me one in style.

TFW2005 put up some color pics
here.
I would LOVE to have one of these, but $180-something dollars is waaaaaay too pricey for me.
BTW, am I the only one who thinks that the Rumble/Frenzy headphones are a giant disapointment?

His chest looks... fuzzy.
Ah' dunno' about the head-phones, they seem to have the same amount of articulation as most mini-cons.

I take back my word on the Rumble/Frenzy headphones. TFW2005 put up a color picture of them in use
here. You can only see the Rumble(or Frenzy. Whatever.) side, but it looks better in color.

I guess this changes the old comic versus cartoon argument of "RIRFIB vs RIBFIR" to "RIRFIL vs RILFIR".

You do realise that the $180-something price is for the 2-pack, and that the two colour schemes are available separately for $95 each?

Really? Hmm. I'll think about it. I'll probably get the Botcon pack instead, though.

And remember, $95 is about £40, so it just keep getting better...
How much are all the Botcon TFs?
Having just realised the dollar is ****** right now, it might not be that expensive...
I really want all those ******* jets, they're lush...

I'm left asking that question, too. I hope it's not
too much. I can afford it if it isn't more than $100, but even then I'd need someone to pick one up for me at Botcon as I don't want to go with all of the movie hype pinned up everywhere. Not to mention guys from G4tv asking me for my opinion/rant.
Anyone care to help a guy out?

I think the cost is about 150 pounds. It's not inexpensive.

Judging from the size it'd fit right in with the Classics.

Yeah, £150 odd is still a fair amount of wedge...
But those seaker jets do look cool...
