I thought they weren't supposed to do a spotlight of him, because he's already so hideously defined, and since his tale has been told many a time?

Anyways, still looking forward to it of course, since it is in fact by sirs Furman and Don.

He's the last person they should've made a spotlight for. I would've liked to see an Arcee spotlight. Well, we'll see what happens.

Only if it's Prime's Rib for the twenty-first century...

If IDW stick to their guns on the main title events at the moment, this could tie in interestingly in a number of ways.

A spotlight on Prime and, if they do one, on Megatron, would be very interesting, and possibly be very different from any of the others.

Hopefully, it will fill in the details about how Prime and Megs 'know' each other, as they discussed while beating the living crap out of each other in Escalation #5.

It seemed to me that there more to this than them just knowing each other as opposing commanders. But I might be wrong....

I would have liked to see a four-ssue Optimus Prime origin series as well.

I think Ryall and Simon know how overused Prime is and wouldn't be devoting a spotlight to him unless it was important and was going to be something exceptional.

So I'm psyched for it, yeah.
