Title will be four-weekly - 13 times year - and on-going ala Marvel UK.

A lot of people liked this cover very much. But you can't please everyone right.
I can't see it working for a sequential strip. Might be the kind of thing kids go for as a cover, though obviously they probably don't want too much variance between covers and interior -- and the movie prequel has quite dark colouring for the first bit. Lightens up by the next issue (on Earth) I suppose, though.

I really like that cover. The pencils are even nicer! If this were the Dreamwave days, I'd be waiting for the original art to show up on Ebay.

Thank you very much!!! I do appreciate it!!!

When I was asked by IDW to draw that cover it was LONG before they had published a single Transformers comic. They gave me the freedom to do what I wanted to do with no restrictions. Basicaly I could draw a cover using whatever TR character I wanted as long as it wasn't Optimas, Megatron or Starscream. (I got Starscream in but he was in jet mode so it was all right) I asked them if I could do a wrap around and they were kind enough to take me up on it. They have been nothing but great partners. Ryall is a great guy and has an amazing sense for buisness in a way that makes drawing comics fun and not seem like a buisness, something that can get lost from time to time when all you want to do is draw things that made you happy as a kid but all the other fog gets in the way.

So my goal when drawing this cover was too take some of the things I thought DW did really well and push it a bit further. At the time they were the most recent publisher of Transformers. Their covers were drawn very well but lacked story with the idea that you could mix match most all of them to different issues and it wouldn't matter. That was an editorial choice. They had a lot of kinetic energy but usually were just an all out mixing pot of fighting.
My attempt was kinda like in the second Matrix movie when Neo grabbed Morpheus and that Key guy from the top of the semi crash. If someone took a snap shot right then. That one frame holds so much story. Thats what I was going for.

So maybe back in the day it would have been a piece on ebay...but for right now it's going on my wall along with other originals from my upcoming projects:)

I think it's a bit reminiscent of Nick Roche actually. :o

Great colouring, and Shockers is probably my fav in it. :)
