Hey, cool. That's some nice big robot art.

And Headmasters!
I guess.

Shall we speculate on the who the disembodied head is? Scorponok would be the natural guess were he not intact when last we saw him.

agreed. Head damage plus head antannae things on the right.

Agree its odd that he seems to have lost his body.

But other than that makes perfect sense.

i will give someone an old DW issue if i am wrong.

Man, so now Scorpy will be binary bonded to a rich Texas guy? :) Dante pretty much reminds me of the Texas guy from Simpsons... :)

Megatron certainly is acting rash. I think Denyer mentioned it (or was it someone else?) that Ore-13 might influence the behavior, guess it's true.

What I found shocking was that Megs' fusion cannon was blown off... that's something that never happened (I mean, surely these things are not common weapons on Cybertron) and isn't the whole story of the Megs Origin will be about him finding his cannon for the first time?

What would be interesting is if Dante turns out to be a facsimile clone created by another Decepticon...

I think, according to IDW discussions, that the "weapon" Megs gets in his origin story will be the Decepticon faction itself, rather than his fusion cannon. The solicits text is a bit of a confusing metaphor.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Except practically every other episode of the cartoon, several memorable stories in the Marvel comics...

I must correct you on this, Rebis. Megs LOST his weapon a few times, most remembered one was in Prey, where even he admits he got a new spare on Cybertron. But even in the toon, I NEVER remember seeing his cannon getting actually destroyed. Even in the Movie Frenzy picks up the cannon to carry it after Megs. :)

EMVee - I've also given some thoughts to this, but maybe the greatest weapon Megs finds through his labors is non other then fear itself? After all, Megs mostly rules through fear and intimidation.

For completeness and enlightenment of language barriers, 'blown off' is not equivalent to 'destroyed'
