Including a Target 2006 cover showcasing the Wreckers...

...the Kup book looks really, really fun. Kup himself -- well, check out the images.

Chris Ryall and Simon Furman:

Reminder that after a printing problem, Movie Prequel #1 will be out on the 7th.

Large preview pages: http://tfarchive.com/comics/idw/preview ... vieprequel

Haven't had chance to read through the interview segments myself yet, but I assume there'll be spoilers.

Advance reviews for issues that are quite a way off:

Escalation #5 --

Spotlight: Soundwave --

Assuming spoilers, so personally I'm probably just going to give them a light skim later on. No art spoilers in there apart from already-seen covers.

(Also an advance review for BtVS season eight if you're interested.)

You beat me to posting it... :)

One thing's for sure... Impy's gonna be happy. First new official Impactor artwork in, I dunno how many years. Maybe even Hasbro will register the name now... :D
How do you both think the Movie and this comic prequel differ from the existing hordes of Transformer comics and animation?

SF - Like Infiltration (et al), it’s just a baggage-free reboot that can be enjoyed by a much wider cross section of the general public. Twenty or so years in, I feel any franchise needs that kind of level playing field reintroduced.
Simon is staying pretty much out of the movie's love/hate arguments, but that's as much of a statement as you can get. :ididit:

Btw - love the 'city of Simfur', and the way Chris tells it why he felt Simon needs to have a cameo of sorts in the TF movie. He truly deserves it.
Name the Transformer you think is the most useless.

CR - ChrisCharger.

SF - Wheelie.
Sooo true. Both. I hope it's gonna be Wheelie who will get killed in the TF/Avengers crossover (it was hinted one TF won't appear in the IDW comics because of events in the crossover).
Is Nick Roche really that scary in his TF geekiness?

CR - Well, he’s Irish, so that explains a lot, said fellow Irishman Ryall.

SF - He’s an Irishman who doesn’t really drink. Now that’s scary.
That IS scary.

Yay, lots of interview goodness!

Genius.

SF - Grimlock.

By the way those reviews are pretty much spoiler free.
