I have to say, going by the previews, Don looks like he's having a ball, but its a waste of Bob's talents.

i agree - based on teh Shaun of the Dead adaption its esily something Chris R could have done, it seems a bit of an exercise in checking a box (Used bob B?yep) rather than a serious attempt for him to bring something new to the franchise.

That said, he clearlydoesn't care that much about TFs (in the nicest possible way), so maybe its not that bad a thing.

Still, an Evolutions story would've been nice.

I wonder why Bob has to mention in every interview how much he doesn't care about TFs. Maybe he wants Marvel to get the cue and re-hire him for Spiderman?

TBH I think it's the sort of reaction I would give after being so disparaged for so long by so many fans!

We'll make him care about it yet! :)

I think the dream for me TF-wise, coming out of IDW right now is a BLASTER SPOTLIGHT, by Bob Budiansky & Don Perlin. :o

Come on... Perlin would probably think it quite choice to get to do a little bit of quality sequential-work again, at the autumn of his life, wich he knows will be appreciated by some fans. :(

Surely..?

i'd rather see the main continuity remain in the hands of one writer to be honest.

kinda like Bob's repeated apathy to TFs to be honest, i find it quite amusing, and the recation to it in some quarters doubly so.
