New Hot Rod alt mode looks nice...

Megs becomes a gun again?!?

Those 'things' on the Sixshot page remind me of the 'Mutants' from the UK B&W story "Underworld".

Magnus catches Swindle trading arms with aliens? Now that's cool... 8) TFs haven't had contact with other species since the old Marvel US stories.

Oh and.. look at the hologram head Magnus is watching. Hard to make out, but it's.. Scorponok! :)

Pretty cool stuff is coming... .) Oh and Astrotrain attacks Hardhead? Guess Headmasters will be in, after all.

Darkwing and Dreadwind are already in it, and I don't see that to mean we're getting Powermasters. For once I'd like to see the characters in it in their own rights, without sandwiching in a gimmick. :)
Grrr. Argh.

No, I meant the Headmaster characters, as Simon kept saying previously that they AREN'T in.

By the way - look at that pic where Magnus is reviewing the data he got from Swindle... could it be Scorponok is a sort of battle suit Swindle sold to some guy named Zarak? :)

The moment Furman takes his cues from The Rebirth, I'm outta here.

I hope this is not the case... Maybe it's simply a debriefing for Swindle from his commander. But the lower right panel shows some tank that suspiciously looks like a Cybertronian mode for Scorpy.

Though, I don't think Furman would throw the character he made memorable out of the window.

Btw, did Magnus just gun down all those aliens?

I just noticed... look at the pics after the Movie prequels and the Leonardo designs!

Transformers, Thundercats and MOTU?!? I do hope that was just a concept sketch...

Interesting thing about Hardhead is he has his 'comics head' not his toy head.

interesting to me anyway, as i always preferred some of the redesigns.

Got to admit, that Magnus pic does look like Scorpy...maybe this will be the IDW introduction to Headmasters after all...
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

This might sheds some light on Magnus:

http://www.idwpublishing.com/news/dujour.shtml

Apparently he's an Autobot bounty-hunter! That's some reinventing of the character! I guess Swindle is just the small fish, Magnus's next target after getting him will be 'Most wanted' Scorpy... :) I hope.

Gotta agree, I like Hardheads comic/carton face better. In fact, I like the comic versions of the head designs for Target/head/Powermasters/Triggercons/Bots better then the actual toys.

er, he's not a bounty hunter. Its says he's a law enforcer.

not the same thing.

despite what some may say, yes?

Aw, too bad. I kinda like the idea of Ultra Fett.

Yeah, the law enforcer type character always grates on me a bit. "You violated section blah, blah, blah".

If this is the case, I hope Magnus gets his ass handed to him. Ideally, by Shockwave again.

Shockwave?!? As far as I know, they never met in Marvel... Oh, you mean War and Peace? I tried hard to forget that- it started all the "Shockwave did it"-s.

Oh and yes, my mistake about bounty hunters. Some guy was potsing the news with this description and I just copied it.

More info about Simon and IDW from Botcon - Panel 2!

Doubledealer? Wow... it WAS worth telling Simon some 15 years ago in Marvel UK how much we liked that one issue where he starred... :)
Will do anyone except Wheelie.
Ah, I was rooting for a Wheelie spotlight! (ducks)
-Primacron is not the same as the cartoon Primacron. It was a coincidence that he used the name.
Uhm... then we'll see some other Primacron, who's most likely not a space-monkey building Unicrons in his spare time? I thought Simon knew some of the cartoon origins. Not that it's important - Primacron was forgotten after that one episode.

Nice to hear Simon reads the boards and for example sped up the pace of stories because of the complaints about Infiltration. I should post there more often... then again, being a Furmanite I hardly criticise him.
