That's what the folks over at TFW2005 say. I think I'll hold my jaw dropping 'till after I see a link. But then again, if you can't trust mods, who CAN you trust?

Gah, They beat me to it... I wanted to do a crossover too, though I planned to do Amalgam comics style (TF superheroes, if you will).
This will certainly be interesting. Megs vs. Superman? Brainiac becomes Shockwave's headmaster?
...or, it'll go down the drain like any TF crossover so far.

yeah, i can't really see this being great.
Basically Superman could probably **** up the TFs with little or no bother.
so, erm, that's either a very short comic or, more likly some massive contrivance to streach the story beyong the one page spread of Supes flying straight through Meg's cerebral cortex.
This may be fallout from when DC were considering optioning the TF licence, if i recall correctly.

No, Energon could have traces/be converted into Kryptonite, or even possibly the Creation Matrix made of Kryptonite. That could be cool

You know that they could do anything. From saying that energon has krytonite to that Batman created the quintessons or that Brainiac created Unicron in an alternate future/past/presente trash.
Because all of these possibilities Im afraid.
The good part is that JLA fans will have a chance to see tfs and you never know what can happen with extra publicity.

Chris Ryall wrote:I'd also suggest some healthy skepticism about this rumor, too... how do these things come about? It's funny how some surface out of nowhere, while my ultra-serious mention that we will be doing a crossover between Alan Moore's LOST GIRLS and Transformers is a go (it came up at our panel today...) and yet no one mentions that in any recap.
I appreciate Siebertron.com's recap, but they got some details very wrong ("- Chris Ryall and Furman are set to do a 4-part prequel for the movie dubbed 'Prime Directive'. Art by Milne, writer TBA," for one, and "Nick Roche to draw all the Spotlight issues," for another, at a con where people are snatching up the BotCon exclusive edition of the Nightbeat Spotlight drawn by Mark Bright, and the Ruffolo and Musso pages I showed at the panel). I think we're doing roughly the same panel tomorrow (well, later today) so maybe that'll further clarify things.
Justice League, huh? At least we're shooting for the top with this rumor. It beats a "TF meets Captai Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew" crossover rumor, anyway.

I was a bit skeptical, too. But anything's possible behind the push of a multi million dollar movie. And Ryall wouldn't be the first EIC to lie to keep something under wraps.
Did anyone buy Lost Girls btw?
