Hes abit 'american' isnt he? - all airbrush,chrome and flames? - why not put the stars and stripes on him aswell.

I guess this makes old 'OP' look down with kids and stuff - sod realism.

Gosh.

I just read the (albeit early draft) leaked script of the movie yesterday.

THis isn't going to be a TF movie. 'Mighty morphing mechanoids' should be a better name

Sadly, everything we've seen so far as leaked shooting scenes is in the movie script, so I guess this IS final.

After reading it, I wonder why Bay said no to mass shifting... his new ideas are even less feasible. Plus, there IS massshifting in the movie at one point...

So folks, don't hope for any drastic changes about the movie and the style. It's gonna be a good B-movie, like ID4 or Godzilla, lots of alien robots, but hardly what we consider Transformers....

The script is so bad, in fact, that I decided to write one myself, one that could please newcomers and fans as well... knowing my speed I might do it by the time the Movie hits the theaters, but I'll do it, nonetheless.

I slept uneasy yesterday. It's really true:

Yeah, I've had a PDF of that script on my 'pooter for a while. I finally gave in to tempation the other night. As BB said, despite all the shouts of "its an early draft, you know nothing" all the elements that have been discussed recently seem to be in there. So, it won't be dramaticaly different.

this whole 'you have seen nothing line' is a pretty weak dismissal in my eyes.

we may not have seen much, but what we have seen most of us don't seem to like much.

and we all remain open to being corrected by new contradictory material, but that has yet to materialise.

i think while its fair to say there is plenty you have not seen i don't see how anyone can fail to accept that if you show me 3% of something, while i may not have seen the other 97% yet, if i had a strong dislike to the 3% i'm less likley to be optimistic and if anything mroe likley to shout now if i think the 97% can still be changed.

Well - Ive seen megs, and no, i havent seen megs TF yet - but being a fan I have a vivid idea about what takes place.

Doesnt change the fact that everyone thinks the design just isnt Megatron?

The Serious Line: Oh my God, look atthese f****** things! What the f*** are those things???

The Funny Line: Clearly they need to put more money into the CGI and stop putting all the effort and talent into the acting and script, because that looks like crap. They're like those old school Transformer Shrinkydinks, but then someone they've evolved, like Gremlins when you pour water on them.

So much for changing the design of Megs and Starscream! Screamer really looks like a gorilla here! With a big shiney waspinator-head!

If you read the script, this is propably a settings plan from the final battle scene... And there goes my hope for Brawl looking good in robot mode, thought they won't make a bloody tank transform with the 'panel-splitting' way. Hell, look at his feet, I first thought small robo-spiders are in front of his feet!

So far I don't like ANY of these designs, and furthermore, I see no friggin way these can be made into realistic toys...

For those who cannot make them out:

in the front row, left to right: Brawl, Bumblebee, Jazz
-middle row: Optimus, Primate-scream
-back row: Megatron, Ironhide (black...), Ratchet
-In the behind... possibly Bonecrusher? hard to tell.

Gosh, they all look hideous. Bay really killed them... and the worst thing, this 'evolution' (rather devolution) may revoltionise the franchise, same way BW did, so be ready to buy Bayformer toys in the stores as long as the general toy collectors will like these (and they will like them...). Or if the movie will really suck that much (as it will), perhaps these will end up the same way BM did... going to the trash after one line. (heck look at how much BM toys go for, even compared to BW).,

EDIT: realised that it's most likely Blackout in the back row... at least from the script, he's supposed to be there.

The decepticons that is. Ratchet and Jazz actually looks half-decent from what little we can see.

I seriously hope that Bumblebee will have a proper fricken face when he's fully animated tho... Seems like the other auto-lads has it??
