"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.
They're spending all their cash on Civil War, 52, One Year Later etc. Big Two are eating up market share at the moment. Still not bad tho, when you consider the reality, not what one would like to see.
Although the charts are all screwy this month, and I haven't read a decent explanation of the indexing yet. It's possible those figures are kinda inaccurate (more so than the normal built-in uncertainty). Batman - the index benchamrk comic - had a big boost in sales and it seemed to break the system.
The interwub comics numbers guys will hopefully be popping up later on with more accurate figures and some analysis.
Shame about Stormbringer #1 being under Infiltration #6 tho, if the ratio works out correct. Smacks of it being ordered like a #7. Did it ship right at the end of the month? That sometimes screws the figure up.
edit: apparently the indexing got fixed this weekend; I didn't check, just figured this was still screwy. The 'correct' estimate numbers are up now:
88 TRANSFORMERS INFILTRATION #6 - 25,303
93 TRANSFORMERS STORMBRINGER #1 - 24,542
104 TRANSFORMERS EVOLUTIONS HEARTS O/STEEL #1 - 20,533
155 TRANSFORMERS GENERATIONS (IDW) #5 - 11,141
If you really like number-crunching, I read last week or so the missing initial order sales on these things can work out to about 20%. That, like lots of things to do with comics numbers, was a guestimate that came out of a discussion between a comics pro and a few retailers.
The analysis guy for indies has been commenting that he thinks these books are underperforming, as variant covers are seen as a sales-crutch and the books have been heavy on them.
I don't know if he did last sales months' thing come to think of it...
Wait, found it: apparently the only TF comic in June was an issue of Generations? Is that right? Apparently it was IDW's top book that month with almost 13K.
May may be more interesting for those inclined to follow these things, if you haven't previously read it.
All these silly stats. It's like following your local footy club.

Stormbringer did ship late, and the stock that was printed cleared, so I'm hopeful for more added to its total when the following month of "actual" figures come out. Not that they're actually actual actuals.

Everywhere had the wrong indexing, a retailler on another board said they came that way from Diamond. He then posted the correct ones once he got those, and ICV2 had the same info, what is supposed to be the correct estimates, yesterday lunchtime.
No, and I haven't read an explanation for it anywhere yet.http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/9143.html -- no mention of having Diamond send out poisoned data first time around.
BATMAN is 100 there now.
