I think so. Just Bay and the Hasbro CEO (Archer?) know who's really in it, huh? Interesting. There will be leaks though, toy prototypes, that sort of thing, but I wouldn't mind if we don't see the robots themselves until the big screen.

Sadly the toys and video game will come out at least a fortnight before and will probably give away all the character designs for you heehee

I'm wondering that maybe if they take the first story light enough, without trying to do anything too heavy, it might end up half watchable. If the thing never takes itself too melodramatically and seriously it shouldn't suffer at a probably lack of characterisation and depth, I guess?

Have to wait and see.

I will reserve judgement on the film until I actually see it, things look promising and you cannot doubt that the people making it are really into it.
