According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Kevin Dunn (perhaps best known to fanboys as "Col. Hicks" in Roland Emmerich's Godzilla)
has joined the cast of the live-action, big-screen version of The Transformers.

THR says "Dunn will play Shia LaBeouf's quirky, do-it-yourself dad." LaBeouf tops the cast of human characters,
which includes Jon Voight, Bernie Mac, Josh Duhamel, Megan Fox, John Robinson and John Turturro.

Dunn's credits include the forthcoming releases All the King's Men, Gridiron Gang and The Black Dahlia, as well as Chaplin, Nixon, Small Soldiers and Stir of Echoes.
