Fantastic designs from Guido. I think I've guessed why they look so alien, they seem to have become involved for some time on a primitive planet in a manor similar to the story of Infiltration, where the cons and bots search for planets to get energy for their race to survive.

And apparently since they've been there so long, they've said good bye bye to their vehicle-modes and pulled a "Dinobots" on themselves, taking on the forms of the alien wildlife.

I think I'll "pick this up".

Possibly. Good rationalisation. I'm gonna order the first issue and see how it goes...

BB's fairly obvious. Lots of Bombshell-esque 'Cons too, by the looks of things, and a dude with the standard "Convoy" look, though it may not be the Optimus Prime.

Hm. I like the way they've highlighted the differences between, well, whatever planet they're on to start with and industrial revolution-era Earth...it's going to be a hell of a culture shock for both humans and TFs. I'll buy it.*

Could be Prime. Soundwave looks interesting with the goatee.
