Not sure where the image first appeared, but thanks to Hooks for the heads up.
Oh, and before anyone suggests it -- it's really very unlikely this refers to Sunstorm.

War...children...it's just a shot away...
This looks fun. Any bets on what it is?
1. Sunstorm
2. Unicron
3. Liege Maximo/G2 Decepticons
4. Rift in space and time
5. Tearing fabric of reality apart
6. And the only thing that can stop it is
7a. The Matrix
7b. or Shockwave
8. Something we've not seen before

9b) "The smelting Pool!" II.*
10. Vector: Cybertron. A good ol' crossover with the TF: Cybertron comic, wich, for those that are uninitiated, ties together every single continuity of Transformers ever created, on an issue by issue basis.
*(since the original 2-part arc could possibly be called "Meanwhile back on Cybertron..." I guess this could also be called "Meanwhile back on Cybertron II")

Hang on, I've read this one. Isn't Shockwave in charge and the Autobots and Decepticons are united now?Denyer wrote:9. The planet Cybertron, signifying a broadening of scope and revelations about the rest of the war
Something like that?
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

So basically, we all can see that's Cybertron. Given that Cybertron is currently being released as a toy called Primus, we most likely can assume that Cybertron will transform into Primus.
And now we're saying that Primus will be the yin to the Decep's "we can trash whole planets" yang. That Primus will be the Superion to their Menasor, their Defensor to their Bruticus, yada yada yada.

Why? There's one series with a Primus toy, therefore all Cybertrons (especially those in a series which is heavily founded on 80s/90s comics) transform?Shanti418 wrote: we most likely can assume that Cybertron will transform into Primus.
I bet IDW are beginning to wish they'd picked a different focal image for discussion...

Nemesis Primus!
Reverse Primus!
Scourge Primus!
An alternative universe where Primus was created by evil, where the Decepticons rule, brings along a Decepticon matrix, ends up with both planets transforming, kicking crud out of each other, bad primus joins forces with unicron, then good alt universe unicron comes along and joins forces with primus, then everybody gets blown out of existence, leaving a couple of TFs to crash land on earth etc.................

does it result, at somepoint, with an alternative future Galvatron coming back in time and having a bit of a cop-out fight with Megatron and then going mad?divebomb wrote:Oh no!spiderfrommars

yep. Also I forgot to add that obviously the Autobots would be bad guys of the alt universe, and Con's vice versa. This would mean the story should be called,Legion

Transformers, the Hasbro Repaint wars
Obviously they will love this, repaint of every figure within the line, plus they'll chuck some mini cons in for fun, repainted again!

The Transformers: Stormbringer #1
Simon Furman (w), Don Figueroa (a & c)
For those of you craving unchecked, cover-to-cover giant robot action (guaranteed no humans!) on an epic scale, look no further than this special space epic. So far, in “Infiltration,” we’ve had tantalizing hints about the state of play elsewhere in the TRANSFORMERS universe, but now we look in on Cybertron itself, unlocking a dark, dark chapter in the planet’s history, one that is about to hit the Autobots and Decepticons again… full force! By the Beast Wars team supreme of Simon Furman and Don Figueroa. This special four-part series will tell one complete, self-contained cosmic epic. What’s more, each issue will feature a wraparound cover from Figueroa, all four of which combine to present one huge image, and a variant cover from Fig, too.
$2.99 * FC * 32 pages
I'll go update solicits in a bit...
