One of the Titanium figures is War Within Prime:

The other one is a Megatron that looks so horrendous I am sparing everyone's eyes by not linking to it. You have been warned.
Although the little figs do look fun. Some BT/Alt designs in there:

Wait... so these are, what? Super-deluxe Action Masters? Aka, TF's that don't transform?
The small ones are obviously statues.
The gray-purple Megatron was certainly out of the blue. Is he a statue of one of the G2-variants or something? I mean, he's a tank, but he's not the same tank as the classic green one in G2.

doesn't quite look like they have done him justice to be honest [/fan whine]
Megs is just... wierd. Preds i don't think that we have seen that incarnation before.
i'm hoping he is wrongly transformed.
paint jobs look a bit rushed as well on the bigger figures, but maybe that's cos they are promos. maybe.

These are cool, I hope they will come at a reasonable price, 'couse I plan on getting TWW Prime and Unicron.
And, as the newsflash said:
And I cannot find the link, but I remember seeing somewhere a comic-only char among the Titanium toy list. Anyone has it?

Now, that's finally going back to the roots - diecast TFs!* TITANIUM SERIES die-cast collectibles, to be introduced in July 2006, will include a variety of unique 3” robots as well as fully changeable 6” robots. Each one comes with a display base.

The transforming ones now seem to include War Within Jetfire and the Seeker design:

Jetfire looks like TEH SEX
The Seeker-design is pretty cool too. I just hope they redo Megs. A lot.
This might turn out to be an incredible line, now don't it, lads? Maybe we'll be seeing the intermediate G1-based toys that are supposed to come in-between Cybertron and the Movie-Line in this one?

Titanium website opens, with animated graphics and tech specs!
http://www.hasbro.com/titaniumseries/de ... age=action
Not only is the page cool - that music is ace too.
And read the tech specs - there are some pretty interesting tidbits of info there... For example, they mention that the Ark was destroyed by Fort Max - following the G2 continuity instead of the cartoon, finally! Interestingly, Meg's bio is not the same as the one on his box. And Bumblebee's is just like his old TFU entry.

I checked out the site yesterday, but I missed the Ark-reference??
Must look closer... And Megs doesn't looks that bad at all on these new pictures, does he?
Aye, there the reference be, on the bottom of the specs for the Arc. Plus, apparently Sideswipes brain-module is capable of quantum processing, used for reflexes.
"Fastest draw in the universe" indeed.

HAHAHAHA!!!! Again, my predictions came true...
Have a look-see:
http://www.seibertron.com/news/view.php?id=7737
Apart from TF Classics continuing with Cliffjumper and Ramjet (a refresing change from the awaited Magnus and Skywarp/TC repaints) and new molds (Jetfire sounds promising), plus the new G1/G2 Megs/OP two pack, new Titanium 6' figure info!
Yes, Scourge is G1 Scourge... and ther'll be a Magnus, Cheetor and Primal too. But the last line /later addition is the most interesting news of these:
I wonder if the Fallen will come with a mini-built-in furnace... :P

And to quote myself:"I can't believe I forgot this - the new Titanium 6" War Within figure is The Fallen."
And so it has... a big day, if it's true. After guys like Scrounge, Impactor, Xaaron, even Hook LIne and Sinker - finally a comic only character gets to be made into a toy. (well that is if you don't count Primus as comic only...) At any rate, I hope this means we'll see more of the Fallen in the future... and also sets the groundwork for more comic-only characters to be made into toys.BB Shockwave wrote:Man, I gotta get these!!!!
And I just relised who that comic-only character is gonna be...
-drumrolls... The Fallen! Gotta be him!

I didn't miss that, but frankly I'm not too excited - since titanium works only with 6 and 3' figures, I bet it's gonna be a TWW prime repaint.Predabot wrote:You missed to mention that Magnus wont be in the classics line but in the... TITANIUM!
Ultra. ULTRA Magnus! He's back beeyotches. Now buy me one.
He'll probably only go from big bot to truck tho, since having the small Prime-like bot in him isn't very likely is it?

Man, I cannot stress how shocked I am about the new Titanium figures that seems to have been popping out of nowhere at the Comic-Con or whatnot!
Erm... anyway. I've calmed down a bit, so. here's what we'll get:
http://tformers.com/ig.php?mode=album&a ... 00&start=0
6' figures:
G1 Scourge, transforms just like the 86 toy, only a bit updated in style - wish Takara would have made Thunderblast like this one. Really cool, especially the vehicle mode. My only gripe is the head - he seems to have a 'low brow' if you look at it. Oh and he has no weapon... odd.
Optimal Optimus - I don't really know the original, so there... I guess it will have all the transformations, and it looks nice, but I don't like the original either so I'll leave it out of my collection.
RID Prime ( ) Well that was unexpected... Guess we'll get RID too in Titanium. He's quite good, and since I'll never spend so much money on the original, I'll buy it propably.
G1 TWW Starscream... before you get your hopes up, he's a repaint of TC. Of course, was predictable, but would have been nice if they made them different - after all, Titanium TC looks exactly as in TWW, and in there all three seekers had different transformations. Oh well, at least we have Cybertron Screamer.
Now... drumrolls.... G1 Soundwave! And yes, he's a casette player! I have mixed feelings about him - he looks OK in robot mode, but his, erm, crotch is a bit too large... and in tapedeck mode, he's too plain - no fine details at all... Maybe it's because of the darker blue shade. But, he has both of his guns (look like batteries still) and Laserbeak, who hasn't changed much. I'm uncertain if he has another casette behind Laserbeak, or that's his chest already? Anyway, looks really cool.
-And the big suprise, and my fav so far: G1 Rodimus Prime! Yes, him... and we all know how much the old toy sucked. Well, no more - he has a completely different transformation, his trailer is part of the body now! The robot mode is really bulky and strong looking - I bet Don designed it. He even has his gun and the flame deco looks even better then before! really a must-have.
3' figures - I'm not really sold on these, but anyway, here we have some more:
-Alt. Sunstreaker (repaint of Sideswipe, duh)
-G1 Prime (looks quite good)
-Energon SCorponok - here I was hoping he'd be the G1 one. Pity.
-G1 Grimlock - looks OK, just like the cartoon version - but why no sword?
-G1 Galvatron, cartoon style. I might get this one---
-G1 Cliffjumper - BB repaint. Lame, Hasbro...
-G1 Predaking! Now this I need... looks really good, and has a sword too.
-G1 Thundercraker - you guessed, SS repaint. Oddly his head is blue....
-G1 Soundwave - really good looking, even though he has no casettes with him. I wish the 6' figure had such colors!
So, I'm really looking forward to the autumn - ever since Hasbro took over, we old G1 fans are getting what we wanted. No more animeformers and Poketrons! My only question is, how will Titanium and Classics coexist? If we got Soundwave here, does this mean no Classic SW? Maybe not, since we'll get a classics Jetfire for sure... Anyway, good job, Hasbro!
