Great Scott!
The cover is indeed cool... I thought about doing a T-Shirt with the original 'are all dead' but maybe I'll do it with this pic... Or maybe both.
Begin Again is finally something new - most G2 fanfics I read start out with the Cons already at war with the Bots again. I'm looking forward to the continuation. (note to self - I really should start drawing my G2 comic... I have the scripts already for years...)
Xaaron's profile is a welcome one, and I laughed myself silly at the letter column.
One problem though - My letter didn't get printed! Grrr! Don't dare leave me out next time - after all, anything else would be illogical for a namesake of the Great Eye.

Hm, I might not have time to read it before disappearing for Christmas, but the blurb leaves me really expecting good stuff. Well, with Molestrangler included, you can't go wrong.

Bejeebuz! What an awesome comic-magazine! Thanks for the present mod-lads!
Also, I am hereby giving you permission to use my real name in the credits. Let's see if you can remember it...
Can I also make a small suggestion for the A-Z profiles-page for next issue? I know that technically it's not true to the original format(?) but can we maybe have the text in a non-skewered way? My inferior brain and ocular organs had some difficulty to read it this time. Please show compassion for the disabled.
I am going to reveal a little secret, I didn't acctually have the time to complete the colouring on the last page, so I told Metal Vendetta to start the work on them while I was at the rest of em'. Thereby we just managed to complete it. I must say he really followed the idea for the colours that I had, except he used a different effect for re-entrance into the time-stream. XD (btw Impster.. how come the quality on the Molestrangler cover/titlepage is not as good as the pages? I don't recall any such problems with the one I sent you? If it ever happens again, give me a swift kicking..if it was my fault that is.. )spiderfrommars wrote:Oops - we should add that the colours for Molestrangler were done by Predabot. And a good job he did too.

My two cents.
The cover is a 3d max/photoshop gag i worked up, all the fonts are correct to the orginal UK, and there is a lil Impactor face in the corner, which is homage to me!
the design for the inside cover, and all other pages follows the UK comic to the font and is meassured to the nearest mm - the A-Z page was re-constructed from the orginal in a process that can only be called pain-staking, the original font spacing sizing eerything....
On note, the text looks wobbly, its a visual effect played on the eyes, if you see a printed version it looks totaly straight - so there u go some magic for you too.
the empty box on the back page is obviously supposed to show the next issue, but due to time it eneded up being signed by ppl at Transfest, which was nice.
Im really proud of it, I cant stress how much effort everyone put and im so thankfull to them all, i love it when things go to print.
Speaking of print, Mr MV printed it on the actually day of transfest, which is amazing and he footed the bill.
hats off to you sir!
Hope you all enjoy it, and heres to next years! (2 a year lads? :P )

Well I had a few issues left over so I put them in the small press section of my comic shop, and we've sold 4 issues to the general public, so I take that as a good sign...If anyone still wants an old-fashioned paper copy I still have maybe 3 left. Buy 'em now or I'll eBay them for terrible profit.
Merry Christmas all.
Merry Christmas all.
I don't know if I enthused about this enough at the time, but I really do love this, I've reread my copy loads.
The whole thing is great - the letters page is a particualr stand-out for me as I'm very fond of the transfans sense of humour - and those involved should indeed be proud of themselves.
That cover is totally ******* lovely. No doubt. And yes, hats off to emvee for getting it printed, sending out the copies to the peeps who could not attend the pu-, um, convention, and selling some to general punters.
Hope you do it again guys, this was a blinder. Ta for the prezzie.

Now I've had a chance to read it, absolutely brilliant. I really loved Shockwaves in particular, and both the stories are really good starts.
