I have Black Convoy from RID, this figure is awesome. I think it would need some redeco though, remove some of that g2 tackiness and it could look even more striking.

Seems like a waste. You can still get RID Scourge for $30 on ebay, and the original Laser Rod isn't that much more expensive, unless you want it MIB. Why aren't they doing some of the bigger, harder to find Japanese exclusives first? Where's Starsaber and Victory Leo?

bear in mind that these reissus aren't done with teh western market primarily in mind.

Battle Convoy IS hard to find for Japanese fans, some say even harder than an original Star Convoy

That's true. They were before, since Takara makes sweet money when it sells molds to Hasbro, but now that CE is over...

Even still, it's only been five years since RID Scourge was released in Japan. Those must still be easier to come by than some of the other Prime/ Convoy incarnations that Westerners would love to see.

Reissue from the 1995 G2 Battle Convoy.
Light gimmick that was not included in the initial Takara version will now be included.
Tank trailer part will have a special upgraded quality, now comes in silver metallic color.
