very very interesting.
So Takara are taking a break... hmm. I'm guessing they'll be back in not so many months/years. From the sound of things Transformers is becoming a difficult line to target and market correctly, what with changing demographics and children's attitudes to toys.

well imo whatever happens with Takara they will always produce transforming robots of some sort, as toys go that's one of the few concepts which always sells pretty much regardless
Might take them a year or so to get back into it though I think.

YAY!
American designs ahoy!
It does sound very intriguing this... with a line in-between Cybertron and the Movie... of reimmagined G1??
And the plans for the movie-line to possibly have toys with pre-earth modes and mayhaps bots that aren't in the movie sounds absolutely giddy!
Now then, who do we want in the Movie-line, wich we know just won't make it into the movie? Suggestions anyone? Place your bets very well, we need to think about it.
I suppose it was only bloody logical that Don has gotten some design-work on the toys. I wonder wich bot he's contributed the most to?

That is a fantastic post.
I have to applaud Hasbro for the sheer amount of information we have been fed over the last few days. It's been fascinating.
Strangely excited about the idea of Beast Mini cons!
