As posted by Comander Shockwav at the IDW forum.

This is the most promising review I've read. The only issue, if it IS an issue; EJ Su's work is not as 'glam' as DW. Oh well, I can live with that.... :D

Great to see a positive review on a non-TF site.

If this series can bring in brand new fans whilst still pleasing the old ones... job done. :)

The story sounds as if it'll atleast be enjoyable, even tho the terror of "the human factor" still frightens me.

The art, well I dunno. I suppose Su's TF's on the covers looked decent, but I can't say I'm quite sold on them yet. The ones that I saw in his Joe/TF v2 was certainly not my cup of tea, but he's said those weren't on par with his ussual work. I'm not all that sold on his humans either.

The coloring, from what little I've seen of the preview-pages, could acctually be a problem here, since in some places it looks functional and acceptable, but in others, they seem to burn up, and make everything look like it's atrociously warm. Somethings off.

Iagree with the reviewer about DW. Forget the art, we want quality stories! Who cares how it looks like... Imean if we could tolerate Jose Delbo for years, could it get worse? :D

Story sounds good. Wonder who the Autobot in center of the story will be. Seeing the Battlechargers there already, it could be anyone...there's hoping for Nightbeat. ;)

October I think... so you can pick it up while you're coming down from Serenity.

The review was spot-on for me as far as Dreamwave were concerned. Sounds like Furman, IDW, and Su have made a good comic.

Nightbeat's probably optimistic. It'll be one of the other first-wave cars, I think, maybe someone like Bluestreak? Have to wait and see I suppose.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

spot on - what worries me about TFandom is alot of people seem more concerned about the art than the story. Good call peeps.

I think the bot is Ratchet.

Yay. :)

He's always been a Furman favourate, hasn't he? You're probably right BF.

And its nice to see the tide swingging back in favour of the story......however, I have no real issues with Su's art so far, other than the covention exclusive cover featuring Prime.

Ah yes, but the biggest issue with that cover wasn't the pencils themselves now was it? More the horrid red-tint colouring.

Are you talking about the Prime on the cover with bunch of design sketches? Just to clearify, I didn't do it.

Ah.....then I apologise E.J. I'm either misinformed or stupid. Or both :D

That puts me firmly back in the 'absolutly no problem with E.J.s art' camp then. :)

I think I'll start using a sig, perhaps saying: 'While taking responsibility for making these comments Scraplet can assume no responsibilty for loss or damage caused by inaccuracies contained within' :D

No worries, I didn't want to take credit for anything I didn't do, reguardless of quality.
