Pat Lee is so full of **** I could smell the sports-car driving manure from my desk while reading that. His first response is skirting the issue and so much b.s. when he says things like... ...let me do this right...
Shat Lee wrote:Yet, growing a company is a continual learning process that involves making mistakes, learning from those mistakes, and then using the lessons you've learned to do things better the next time you have to make similar decisions.

Translation:
How was I suppose to know I actually had to pay the people working for me? I've learned a valuble lesson that I can't spend the company's earnings.. ...on.... ...god, look at my abs. They're gorgeous!

In fact, that would be a good translation for all of his first response, the prick.

I'd go on, but maz1 and Chief Wahoo seemed to state it well enough.

Though I'm sure the original interview included a great deal more of questions that Pat wouldn't answer. It would have been nice to note that however. Something like...
Questions that Mr. Lee decided not to answer included...

Q: Multiple choice question Pat. What one thing led to the demise of your company more than the others listed; A) Strip club tab, B) You and/or your brother's sports car purchase, C) Your "artwork", D) Your photo shoots, E) Your nicotine addiction.

Q: Would you care to comment on specifics concerning the allegations of the unpaid freelancers?

Q: Do you still have your new car?

Q: Do you not think it unwise to fess up to your mistakes rather than continuing to skirt every issue with a vague pr statement of pure fluff?

Q: Will your new earnings on other comic books be going to pay the lost earnings of the contract artists you never paid?

Q: Do you know how much Covenant hates you?
*Sigh*

Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.

The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

I think what Pat Lee was trying to say was:

I can do what I love best - draw comics and create the exciting, vibrant, exhilarating characters that inhabit them.

Wow. Reading that load of condescending excusative bilge made me feel nauseated. Haven't felt that since...the last issue of the DW Prime Directive mini.

Utter twunt.
