Alright, I'll admit it before I even get into my weekly column. This isn't really a rumor. This is me venting
a bit of frustration at other TFormers sites that shall remain nameless (new fans probably won't get that
reference, but trust me, at least four people found that hilarious.) I'll do a rumor about Don Murphy
later on in the week, but now, I'm doing this thing here. Over the past week or so, a bunch of images leaked.
Images that weren't supposed to be made public for awhile.

These had been circulating between
some well-connected fans for awhile but weren't made public until recently. Now, there's a few things to be said
about these pictures and the sites that posted them.
However, I'm only concerned with two things:

1) These pictures look REALLY cool!

2) These pictures would look even better if the TF site in question (man, am I getting sick of typing that) hadn't slapped a
GIANT BLACK WATERMARK OVER
THE CENTER OF THEM!!!

Apparently, I'm not the only person this bothered. One of those well-connected fans has given me
their blessing to post these pics in their un-watermarked
form here on this page.

So, I present to you, the readers of Transfans.net,
the psuedo-rumor of the week:

Do these pictures not look waaaaaay
better without a watermark across the center of them?!?

Well the pics ain't loading for me at the mo, but "-al" and "-er" would have completely different katakana. The "-er" sound is generally represented by a kana with a hard "aa" suffix. It would be written bu-le-nu-daa, or somesuch. Where as Brendal would be bu-le-nu-da-l

Can we please put the transfans watermark on these? its far more importnat to me that we get credit for publishing these than people actually get to see and enjoy the images.

Aye. It's really ****ing annoying when they aren't the images of the site in question. I respect that they're providing mirror bandwidth, but watermarking is a convention firmly associated with ownership and originating source, which TFormers often isn't.

Plus it smacks of site whoring and marketing folk...
