One of their top stories is the theft of the license plate for the Optimus Prime Semi truck display.
Muchas gracias to Mob for the Sig, proving why he's called 'King'.
The "i" in "Señior" from "Señior's Covenant" is intentional and part of a stupid & cheesy inside joke from '02. Thank you for your concern.

Shockwave did it.
No, really. His plan was to get Prime impounded for being illegally parked, but it all went wrong when Prime transformed and scared off the repo men.
Honest!

Just keeping it fun. Actually, the person I thought I was going to have problems with hasn't acknowledged me there yet. Probably doen't even know I'm registered on there.

The number of toonies on that board is highly disturbing.

I took one look at the clone of Don's board (in it's membership that is) and just gave up.

Come on over, it's fun to read the stuff they post.
For example some people think that Alpha Trion was one of the original Transformers

As distasteful as it may be, the situation only has a chance of improving if discerning fans (a rare breed, you might agree) make their posts count on such forums, if only to thrust some slivers of intelligent input into the forthcoming movie.
Given the overwhelming swathe of drooling cartoon zombie fanboy masses ("Toysss! We wannnnttt youuurrr toyyyysss!") at such official forums, a thought might be that their loud voices are enough to help doom the project anyway (artistically speaking), hence making joining up to the board a redundant endeavor. Maybe so, but like voting, it's easier to say "I told you so" after the fact when one has cast one's vote (or in this case, written one's posts).
It seems that Denyer is an active poster on all the Transformers messageboards in the universe. That's +1 for Team Sanity, in my book. That's the ticket.

I just tried, really. I couldn't get past the first topic on the page. Seriously, I went to try and post to begin to attempt a difference for the better as Dead Head said (

) and four posts into the topic "about the first 13 Transformers...." I couldn't go on. It's too late for me.

Well, that's 100% correct, that's why I wanted more comic fans on the board, so we can have discussions about Target 2006 or G2 while all the toonies would be clueless about what was going on.

Atleast you can sleep soundly with the knowledge that Transfans is the last bastion of sane TF fans.

Yeah. How hard is it to look at the previous threads and see if your topic is already under discussion before posting a new thread.
I've posted once - a thread about the soundtrack / score. Next day, there has been no reply worth reading on that thread, but someone else has started a different thread about the soundtrack / score!
And there are more idenitical threads about Arcee than you can shake a stick at.

That made me feel better as well. The cool early renderings of helicopter Soundwave have helped too

HEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Sorry, it had to be said (before someone else did).
I'm still struggling to get up to speed on the masses of stuff on that site. I think I've only got involved in about ten topics and it never seems to slow down. And their reply notification is buggered - I get notification everytime someone posts an answer to a topic I'm watching. I turned on my PC and had ten emails all for the same topic.
I try to find at least one interesting topic to join a day - just to spread the love.
Can't seem to make a connection with anyone there though - unlike here or at the IDW board.

Well, that Autobloke is a right tw*t anyway, and I almost instantly thought Denyer was getting on my case for something because I was kinda sick and tired and misunderstood his meaning. Sorry again for that, Denyer.

Who else has an avatar and disgusting mind like mine?
As for the sheer number of toonies, I posted this:
http://www.transformerslive.com/board/s ... 395&page=3
I wonder if that will get a response?
At least it has more life than the IDW board, which seems to have kinda gone quiet - no TF posts since yesterday.

Yay!
Wow! I just saw the thread of the members of Don Murphy's board announcing themselves, and I have to say that that's a LOT of spam!
I may not be perfect (although my mommy tells me I am

), but I really hope that it doesn't spread to the rest of the site and artificially bloat out the other threads - I don't have time to wade through all of that.
I'm getting to know a few of the other posters there a bit better now and it's not as bad as it was to begin with now that the traffic has calmed down to just those people who look like they'll be regular posters there.
I'm also advocating the comics over the cartoons there whenever I can.
Perhaps worth a look now, those of you who didn't want to before.
