Auto Assembly Guest Budget Auctions

Post by Simes » Fri Feb 25, 2005 9:13 pm

To try to help raise some funds towards our guest budget for Auto Assembly 2005, we're going to be running some auctions through eBay with some Transformers (and other) goodies that have been donated to use from individuals and dealers. Once costs of shipping, eBay and PayPal fees have been deducted from the final price, all the remaining proceeds will go to our guest budget to help us to try and bring a voice actor to the UK this year and towards our other guest costs and anything left over if we are successful will go towards the guest budget for AA2006.

We've now got over 20 items online including some copies of last year's convention mag, G2, Beast Wars and other stuff and a long more stuff winging it's way online soon including some non-TF goodies including...

New sealed XBox games; New PS2 accessories; New PC software; New PC peripherals/accessories

So far, the auctions have raised about £100 for the AA2005 guest budget and while this might not sound like a massive amount, it really does make a difference and has already covered the expenses for one or two of our UK comic guests so every penny counts so please bid on anything (or everything!) you are interested in!

If there's nothing you are interested in, but you have any unwanted items (it doesn't have to be TF related) that you want to donate, please send them to the usual Auto Assembly address and we'll do the rest.

We're still talking to sponsors to try to get a voice actor but even if we can manage to arrange this, there's no guarantee that they'd be willing to cover all the costs so your help can really make it happen for AA2005 and beyond...!

Anyway, if you want to see the full list, check it out at http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZautoassembly but remember to keep looking as it will be updated every couple of days!

Cheers,

Simon
