Server move coming up / forum upgrade

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Server move coming up / forum upgrade

It's a bit more than a server move this time -- PHP 5.6 is going out of support shortly, so the forum has to jump a few versions too. (21/12/2018: The forum part's now done and things seem to be working okay).

The forum may want re-skinning afterwards, but phpBB works on mobile devices pretty well these days anyway without too much need to change things -- so that isn't urgent if people don't have time.

Anyway, just a heads up that if the forum and/or site disappears for a day or two on a couple of occasions it's (probably) nothing to worry about.
